Creative Conversation for Artists invites emerging and established practicing artists to present and debate new projects and conceptual ideas to the wide creative community of artists and curators in Doha.  

Mathaf Art Programs invites you to join the next Creative Conversation for Artists with artists Muna Al-Badr and Masoud Al-Bulushi on 13 October, online, Artists will have the chance to engage an open dialogue about recent experimentation and lines inquiry in their work, as well as discussing the challenges faced in the creative process and development of conceptual thinking.

The Mathaf publication, M F Husain: Horses of the Sun (2020) is the expanded publication of the exhibition, M. F. Husain: Horses of the Sun, presented at Mathaf in March 2019. Abdellah Karroum, Director of Mathaf, will introduce the evening and speak about the 2019 M F Husain exhibition, placing it in the context of Mathaf’s curatorial programme and vision. This will be followed by a talk by Ranjit Hoskote, curator of the exhibition and editor of the volume, on M F Husain, his art and its multiple contexts.

Mathaf Summer Camp Online

Mathaf summer program is an annual program dedicated for young children to learn about the museum’s collection and exhibitions through deep observation, discussion and analysis of artworks and participating in hands-on learning activities.
