Anchored by Ho Tzu Nyen’s CGI animated film, One or Several Tigers, the exhibition includes artefacts relating to the legend of Tipu Sultan, the Tiger of Mysore, one of the most famous and polarizing figures in South Asian history. It explores history as a product of both fact and faction, across mediums and time.
The talk will be followed by a tour of the exhibition, led by Mark Rappolt and Tom Eccles.
This emblematic exhibition, led by Artistic Directors Tom Eccles and Mark Rappolt, Assistant Curator Jumanah Abbas, and Director of Rubaiyat Sheikha Alanood bint Hamad Al Thani, forms part of the initial research for Rubaiyat Qatar, a nationwide multidisciplinary quadrennial exhibition under Qatar Museums.
