Adila Laïdi-Hanieh

Adila Laïdi-Hanieh is a writer, art historian, and museologist who has published extensively on Arab and Palestinian art history. She authored the 2017 biography Fahrelnissa Zeid: Painter of Inner Worlds and frequently writes about the artist's work. A Fulbright scholar, Laïdi-Hanieh earned her PhD in cultural studies from George Mason University. Her career includes teaching at Birzeit University and leadership positions as the founding director of the Khalil Sakakini Cultural Centre in Ramallah and director general of the Palestinian Museum.
