Ghadeer Sadeq is a researcher, curator, and writer focused on modern art in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. She holds an MA in arts and cultural management from Pratt Institute (New York, NY) and an MA in political science from Northeastern University (Boston, MA).

Her work spans research, writing, curatorial development, and cultural policy through roles with government and cultural institutions across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. She was awarded the Hayy Jameel Research Grant for a project examining how formative GCC art groups helped shape the visual arts in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, using the “Formative Friends of GCC” group as a key case study. Through this work, she aims to expand understanding and appreciation of the region’s modern artistic heritage.
