Laura Barlow is a curator of international modern and contemporary art who has worked with museums, non-profit organisations, and independent art spaces in Africa, Asia, the UK, and the USA. She is experienced in caring for and building collections of international art, as well as researching, curating exhibitions, publishing, and programming public events, with a specialist focus on sculpture, public art, and architecture.
Laura is the senior curator of research and collections at the Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, Hertfordshire, UK. From 2019 to 2021, she served as director and senior curator of Rubaiyat Qatar, concurrently as curator of public art at Qatar Museums in Doha. Previously, Laura served as a curator at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Doha (2014–2019), projects curator at e-flux, New York (2010–2013), and managing editor of Art Agenda reviews at e-flux (2010–2012). Laura is a PhD candidate at the School of Architecture, Royal College of Art, London.
