Mathilde Ayoub is an independent French-Syrian curator and a PhD student in arts, humanities and creation at the University of Cergy and the Institut national du patrimonie (Paris). She develops research, exhibitions, cultural management, and production projects for contemporary art.
Ayoub is currently developing her Phd project, a collective research project about rehabilitating the Damascus Museum's modern art collection based on memory and archives concerning Syrian modern art and its shared heritage. In 2020, she edited Prefaces to a book for a Syrian museum, published by Zamân Books.
