Sarah Dwider is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Art History at Northwestern University. Her research centers on modern art in Egypt, with a focus on the intersection of visual art, postcolonial development, and technopolitics in the 1950s and 1960s. Sarah received her BA in Art History and Middle Eastern Studies from Swarthmore College and her MA in Art History from the University of North Texas.
