Serhan Ada

Serhan Ada is a writer and a faculty member in the Department of Arts and Cultural Management since 1998, the director of the Cultural Policy and Management Research Center, and the head of the UNESCO Chair on Cultural Policy and Cultural Diplomacy at Istanbul Bilgi University. In 2021, he curated the retrospective exhibition of Etel Adnan, Impossible Homecoming, at the Pera Museum in Istanbul. A founding member of AICA Turkey (International Association of Art Critics), Ada was the founding director of santralistanbul (2007), a derelict Ottoman-era power plant transformed into an arts, culture, and education centre in Istanbul.
