Some of the artists participating in the exhibition project, including Huda Tawakol and Khaled Barakeh, are invited to share their diverse experiences and discuss with the curator, Abed Al Kadiri, and guest speaker, Venetia Porter, the cultural importance of this artistic practice. The panel is moderated by Mathaf director, Zeina Arida.
In parallel to the closing of Cities Under Quarantine: the Mailbox Project and the launch of the exhibition catalogue, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art hosts a panel discussion that focuses on artists’ books as a form of art expression in the Arab world.
